Abstract:
[Problem] To inexpensively provide a gridiron which has a simple structure, enables direct fire heating, and can suppress the generation of soot. [Solution] This gridiron is provided with: a lower mesh (10) having a plurality of recessed trough parts (15) disposed parallelly at constant intervals across a lower frame (12); and an upper mesh (20) placed so as to be rotatable relative to the lower mesh (10), and having a plurality of recessed trough parts (25) with disposed parallelly at constant intervals across an upper frame (22). The trough parts (15, 20) of the lower mesh (10) and the upper mesh (20) each have an arch shape in which a central portion is higher than both end portions. Also, gaps (17, 27) between adjacent trough parts are grater than the widths of the trough parts (15, 25), and the heights of the trough parts (15, 25) and the widths of the trough parts (15, 25) are set equal to each other.
