Abstract:
[Problem] Provided are a gripper and a system that makes it possible to save cost and time in a factory production line or the like. [Solution] According to one embodiment of the present invention, a gripper is provided with at least one pair of movable parts that can be opened and closed, and is configured so as to grip or release an object to be gripped on the basis of the opening/closing of the movable parts; the pair of movable parts are configured so as to form at least a portion of a sensor accommodation space therebetween; the sensor accommodation space is configured so that the object to be gripped will not intrude thereinto and so that a predetermined sensor can be accommodated therein; and the predetermined sensor measures a predetermined length that is dependent on the distance between the pair of movable parts.
