Abstract:
Provided is a gripping tool allowing for a small object to be gripped securely using a simple configuration. A gripping tool (1) has an overall V-shape that is substantially horizontally symmetrical and is provided, on respective distal ends, with a pair of flexible gripping pieces (10, 11). One gripping surface (10a) has a flat surface, and another gripping surface (11a) has a narrower flat surface formed plane-symmetrically with respect to the aforementioned flat surface, except for a cutaway where the trailing edge has been removed. The object being gripped is gripped between the one gripping surface (10a) and the other gripping surface (11a). The other gripping surface (11a) preferably has a length in the tip direction that is 1/3 to 1/5 of the one gripping surface (10a). The object being gripped can also be gripped between a protrusion (11h) and the one gripping surface (10a).
