Abstract:
This gripping treatment instrument is equipped with a sheath extending along a longitudinal axis, a first gripping part provided on the tip section of the sheath, and a second gripping part attached to the tip section of the sheath so as to be capable of rotating relative to the sheath. The second gripping part is equipped with a projection that projects in a direction that intersects the longitudinal axis and intersects the direction in which the second gripping part opens and closes relative to the first gripping part. The tip section of the sheath is provided with a recess that engages the projection and has a recessed shape that opens in a direction intersecting the direction in which the projection projects.
