Abstract:
In order to prevent train delays by adjusting the intervals between trains even in the event of failure of a central control device 1, this ground base device 5 comprises: a schedule diagram storage unit 50 which stores schedule diagrams periodically transmitted and received from the central control device 1; a departure hindering condition determination unit 51 which determines whether or not a departure hindering condition of a train 10 has been eliminated, and outputs a departure hindering condition elimination signal if the departure hindering condition has been eliminated; a departure time control unit 52 which upon receiving the departure hindering condition elimination signal, outputs a proper departure time signal if, based on the schedule diagram, it is time to depart; a departure interval control unit 53 which upon receiving the proper departure time signal, outputs a proper departure interval signal if the intervals between the train 10 and trains ahead and behind the train 10 are at a threshold value or more; and a departure instruction signal output unit 54 which upon receiving the proper departure interval signal, outputs a departure instruction signal. In the event of failure of the central control device 1, the departure time control unit 52 uses the schedule diagram received when the central control device 1 was operating normally.
