Abstract:
The present application provides a group affiliation method and a corresponding device. After a target group requested by a client to affiliate is determined, in order to avoid forming a longer affiliation request message and increasing the packet loss probability and the time delay of transmission of the affiliation request message in a wireless environment due to the fact that group information of each target group is directly utilized, in the present application a target affiliation identifier met by the target group is obtained, that is, the group information of each target group is replaced with a very short identifier which is pre-configured and indicates that the client is affiliated to all groups or some groups, and an affiliation request message for the target group is generated, so that the length of the affiliation request message is greatly shortened. In this way, the affiliation request message is sent to a server for an affiliation operation in the wireless environment, and the packet loss probability and the time delay of transmission of the affiliation request message are reduced, thereby improving the transmission reliability and efficiency of the affiliation request message.
