Abstract:
Disclosed is a guide tube for forming a pneumoperitoneum, which comprises a flexible tube having an inner cavity and has an outer diameter allowing the insertion of the same into a puncture needle.  The guide tube is closed at the distal end and provided, at the distal end thereof, with a chip part that can be held by holding forceps attached to an endoscope.  The guide tube is also provided, at the proximal end thereof, with a part for connecting to an air-supplying device.  Moreover, the guide tube is provided with a side hole section in which at least one side hole is formed so that, in the case where the inner cavity of the flexible tube is pressurized by supplying air, the inner cavity can be connected to the outside.  By using the aforesaid guide tube for forming a pneumoperitoneum, a spare pneumoperitoneum can be safely and surely formed by piercing the body surface to enter the lumen of a lumen organ only once without injuring other organs.  At the same time, the pierced part of the lumen organ wall, which is provided in the course of forming the pneumoperitoneum, can be used as a route for accessing from the inside of the lumen of the lumen organ to the peritoneal cavity.
