Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a gusset bag sealing method with which it is possible to easily fold back an opening end of a gusset bag in a normal way without causing rubbing at said opening end. [Solution] This method for sealing a gusset bag 4 comprises: a first adhesion step for applying a hot-melt adhesive to outer edges 25A, 25B of a pair of opposing gusset portions 6, 6 so as to adhere said gusset portions 6, 6 to each other; and a second adhesion step for applying a hot-melt adhesive to an edge end surface 27 of an opening end 5 following the first adhesion step and then folding back the opening end 5 to adhere the same. This configuration enables sealing by allowing the opening end 5 of the gusset bag 4 to be easily folded back in a normal way without causing rubbing at the opening end 5.
