Abstract:
[Problem] To reduce the size of a device and to improve the productivity of a product, with respect to the sealing of a gusseted bag by a cartridge heater method. [Solution] A gusseted-bag sealing and cutting device comprises: a pair of heater bars 12, 14 that are each provided with a cartridge heater 16 and that seal an opening part of a film F; a pair of film pressers 30, 40 that press the film F; and a cutter 50 that cuts the film F. Distal ends of the heater bars 12, 14 have a wave shape along a side direction so as to engage with each other. Due to this configuration, sealing can be performed at a lower temperature than in the prior art, and portion of a conventionally-used heat pipe and cooling plate is no longer necessary, thus reducing the size of the device. Further, the melted film F does not easily adhere to the heater bars 12, 14 even without use of glass tape or the like, thus eliminating the need to remove the adhered film F or the glass tape and improving the productivity of the product.
