Abstract:
A hair care appliance (10), comprising a heater (400) and a negative ion piece (500); the heater (400) comprises an inner layer (410) and heating elements (420) sleeved on the inner layer (410), the inner layer (410) being a hollow structure; the negative ion piece (500) comprises an electricity-receiving part (510) and an emitting part (520), the electricity-receiving part (510) being disposed on an inner wall (411) of the inner layer (410) and axially extending along the inner layer (410), while the emitting part (520) is connected to the electricity-receiving part (510) and extends along the direction from the inner wall (411) of the inner layer (410) to an outer wall (413) of the inner layer (410). When the hair care appliance (10) is operating, the emitting part (520) will emit ionic particles that carry a negative charge, and a positive charge is carried in and on the hair, which thereby achieves the objectives of smoothing the hair and eliminating static electricity. The electricity-receiving part (510) is disposed on the inner wall (411) of the inner layer (410), i.e. the negative ion piece (500) is essentially located at an inner side of the heating elements (420), and the temperature at the inner side of the heating elements (420) is less than the temperature at the outer side. Therefore, compared to traditional hair care appliances, the present invention may reduce the ambient temperature at the place at which the negative ion piece (500) is located, and lessens the effect that ambient temperature has on the concentration of ionic particles generated by the negative ion piece (500), which thereby improves the maintenance effect for hair.
