Abstract:
Disclosed is a hair cosmetic comprising a surfactant and a cationized hydroxypropylcellulose, wherein the cationized hydroxypropylcellulose has a main chain derived from an anhydroglucose represented by general formula (1), and wherein the degree of substitution in a cationized ethylenoxy group is 0.01 to 2.5 and the degree of substitution in a propylenoxy group is 0.1 to 2.8. The hair cosmetic does not impart unpleasant oily sensation after application, and can impart excellent smoothness, an excellent coated sensation and excellent manageability to hair.
(In the formula, R1, R2 and R3 independently represent a substituent having a cationized ethylenoxy group and a propylenoxy group; and n represents the average polymerization degree of an anhydroglucose, which falls within the range from 50 to 5000.)
