Abstract:
Provided is a hair papilla cell proliferation activator that comprises an alkaline earth metal salt of an acidic saccharide. The acidic saccharide is selected from the group consisting of a phosphated saccharide and lactobionic acid. The acidic saccharide is preferably a phosphated saccharide. The alkaline earth metal salt is preferably a calcium salt or a magnesium salt. According to the present invention, the proliferation of hair papilla cells is promoted. Thus, the hair papilla cell proliferation activator is expected to exert hair-restoring and hair-growing effects of, for example, ameliorating hair thinning, preventing hair removal, promoting hair restoration and promoting hair growth.
