Provided in the present utility model is a hair removal instrument, comprising an instrument housing with an accommodating cavity and an emitting hole communicating the accommodating cavity with the outside; a hair removal device for emitting a light beam to the emitting hole; and a cooling mechanism comprising a conduction block with thermal conductivity and light transmittance and a semiconductor cooling plate connected to the instrument housing. The conduction block comprises a mounting part mounted on the emitting hole and a contact part connected to the mounting part and used for coming into contact with skin, and the semiconductor cooling plate is provided with a cooling end connected to the mounting part and used for cooling the conduction block, and a heat dissipation end away from the mounting part. The light beam penetrates the conduction block and is then used for performing a hair removal operation. The conduction block further has thermal conductivity and can conduct the cooling capacity of the cooling end, and when the conduction block comes into contact with skin, the conduction block can absorb heat of the skin and cool the skin, such that a part, directly depilated and burnt by the light beam, of the skin can be directly cooled by the conduction block, thereby effectively reducing the temperature of the burnt part of the skin and improving the user experience.
