Abstract:
Provided is a hair styling cosmetic which is easily applied to hair, has good compatibility with hair, shows an increase in the viscosity immediately after being applied to hair and therefore has a high hair styling ability, imparts a moderate hair setting ability and hair restyling performance due to deposition of a hair styling component by volatilizing all the solvent at the time of finishing hair styling, and also does not impart a sticky feeling. The hair styling cosmetic contains (a) a specific block-type alkylene oxide derivative which is solid at normal temperature (25˚C), is not soluble in water, and can be transparently dissolved in a lower alcohol and (b) a solvent containing water and a lower alcohol, and is characterized in that the component (a) is dissolved in the component (b), and substantially all the solvent volatilizes after passing through a state in which the component (a) is mixed in the solvent, the composition of which is changing as the lower alcohol is preferentially volatilizing after being being applied to hair.
