A hand dryer, comprising a mounting frame, wherein an electric motor and a heating cavity are provided in the mounting frame; a long and narrow air outlet is provided in the bottom of the heating cavity; a first-side air inlet is provided at one end of the mounting frame, and is located at an air intake end of the electric motor; the heating cavity is located at the tail end of the electric motor; an electric heating wire is provided in the heating cavity; an inner air duct is provided in the electric motor and the heating cavity; and under the action of the electric motor, a high-speed airflow in the inner air duct is discharged through the air outlet to dry hands. The flow speed of air entering through the first-side air inlet is increased under the action of the high-speed electric motor, the air is discharged through the long and narrow air outlet after being heated by means of the electric heating wire, and an airflow speed and an air pressure at the air outlet are increased, such that water on the hands can be rapidly blow-dried, thereby rapidly drying the hands. In addition, the electric heating wire is arranged inside the heating cavity, and is in a semi-closed state, such that it is difficult for water drops to enter the heating cavity, thereby guaranteeing safety during use.
