Abstract:
A hand for an industrial robot of a construction in which openable finger members (18a, 18b) for holding a workpiece are pivotally secured to a hand base member (10) mounted on the end of the wrist of the robot. These finger members are formed as U-shaped members by bending a sheet material, and chain blocks (32a, 32b) are coupled via a link between the finger members and a hydraulically operated actuator (24).
