Abstract:
A hand stamp (10) that includes a case (11), a platen (20), a stamp dye (40), and a retaining member (30). The platen (20) is secured for selective movement within the case (11), with the stamp dye (40) retained adjacent to the platen (20). The platen (20) may move between a marking position and a non-marking position. The retaining member (30) is mounted on the platen (20) in any one of a plurality of positions such that the stamp dye (40) is secured in an assembled position adjacent the platen (20). Also, a preferred method of assembling the hand stamp is also provided.
