Abstract:
A handheld chain saw, comprising a saw chain mechanism; a grip handle (4); an adjustment knob (7); a locking mechanism (3), wherein when the adjustment knob (7) interlocks with the locking mechanism (3), there is no relative movement between the grip handle (4) and the saw chain mechanism; and at least one knob control switch (8). The adjustment knob (7) controls the knob control switch (8). When the grip handle (4) is rotatably adjusted around a rotation axis (1-1) relative to the saw chain mechanism, the knob control switch (8) cuts off a circuit of the handheld chain saw to ensure that the handheld chain saw is in an operating state and the grip handle (4) has one and only unique state in the rotatably adjusted state.
