Abstract:
A blanking control method for an indication icon of a handheld input device comprises: establishing a mapping model, the mapping model being used for mapping pointing of the handheld input device into a display position of the indication icon, in the mapping model, the pointing range of the handheld input device comprising a first pointing range, and when the pointing of the handheld input device is changed, in any track, within the first pointing range, the display position of the indication icon being within a preset screen edge range; determining the display position of the indication icon according to the mapping model; and when the indication icon is moved into the screen edge range, detecting that the duration when the display position of the indication icon is within the screen edge range is greater than a preset first threshold, and blanking the indication icon.
