Abstract:

A condenser (20) has the upper surface of a tube sheet (33) for condensing acrylic acid in the condenser (20), a sprayer (35) for spraying polymerization inhibitor to the tube sheet (33), a first supply tube (28) for supplying polymerization inhibitor to the sprayer (35), and a supporter (36) for supporting the sprayer (35) at a specified position. The supporter (36) supports the first polymerization inhibitor supply tube (28) outside the condenser (20). In a cooler being supplied with vapor of an easy-to-polymerize compound, polymerization of the easy-to-polymerize compound is prevented by a simple arrangement, and a production system comprising the cooler can be operated stably and continuously over a long term.
