Abstract:

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to handover in integrated networks. A method for handover comprises selecting, at a source network device, a target network device as a candidate for handover of a terminal device served by the source network device, the source network device and the target network device being comprised in the first network; determining whether the terminal device has traffic to be communicated from the source network device through a second network, the first and second networks being of different types; in response to determining that the terminal device has the traffic, obtaining capability information indicating whether a requirement of the traffic is satisfied in communication from the target network device through the second network; and determining, based on the capability information, initiation of handover of the terminal device to the target network device.
