Abstract:
The present invention provides a handrail cleaning device used for a moving sidewalk or an escalator, the handrail cleaning device comprising: a housing which is installed on a frame supporting the handrail and has a first storage space formed therein, and through which the handrail passes and moves; a sanitizer supply device which is arranged in the housing and supplies a sanitizer for sanitizing the handrail; and a cleaner module which is arranged in the housing and wipes the sanitizer on the handrail while being in contact with the surface of the handrail. In order to easily replace the cleaner module, the housing includes on one side thereof a detachable cover, and the cleaner module can be attached/detached by opening the cover. Therefore, the cleaner module that wipes the handrail can be easily replaced, and thus, there is an advantage of easy management of the cleaner module.
