Abstract:

An oxygen−permeable hard contact lens capable of supplying sufficient oxygen to a cornea physiologically and excellent in durability. The lens is made of a polymer having an oxygen permeability of 20 X 10⁻¹¹ cm³· cm&sol cm² · sec · mmHg. The center thickness of the lens is 0.010 to 0.125 mm, and the vertex power is over −6.00 D.
