Abstract:
A harmonic rejection mixer comprising mixer units (112-118) comprising switching units (98-104) and variable gm units (105-111). The output current from the mixer units (112-118) drives a common load (119). The variable gm units (105-111) each comprise a transistor array for calibration and a controller (203) controls the gain of the variable gm units (105-111). The ratio between adjustment steps for gain adjustment is a ratio that, when the suppression ratio for a certain higher harmonic is being calibrated, does not impact on the suppression ratio for at least one higher harmonic that differs from said certain higher harmonic.
