A harmonic transmission system and an electric moped. According to the system, a transmission gear device is connected to a rotation driving mechanism (100), a chain disc and a middle shaft, and the transmission gear device comprises a wave generator, a flexible gear (203) and a rigid gear (204) and forms a harmonic speed reducer, so that the size and weight of the speed reducer applied to an electric moped can be reduced, the harmonic transmission system can be mounted in the frame, the appearance aesthetic design can be improved. Besides, the harmonic speed reducer formed by the wave generator, the flexible gear (203) and the rigid gear (204) has the advantages of being high in reduction ratio, high in meshing rate, small in size, light in weight, low in noise and high in transmission precision, the battery life of the electric moped can be effectively prolonged, smooth operation of the harmonic transmission system is guaranteed, and the comfort degree of riding the electric moped is improved.
