Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides a head mounted display, comprising: a lens unit disposed in front of the wearer's eye; a holographic optical element disposed on one surface or the other surface of the lens unit; and an image display unit disposed on the side of the wearer's eye so as to output image display light, wherein the image display unit outputs the image display light toward the holographic optical element by using at least one of a liquid crystal display panel and an organic light-emitting display panel, and the holographic optical element directs the image display light from the display panel to the wearer's eye through reflection by using diffraction.
