In this head structure (10) of a grooving tool (1), a head member (3) has a plate-shaped head body (6). The head body (6) has an insert attachment seat (7). A holder (4) has an attachment surface (4a) that is in contact with a plate surface of the head body (6). A coolant circulation part (5) has: coolant receiving ports (5a, 5b) that are opened on the outer surface of the holder (4); a plurality of coolant discharge ports (5c, 5d) that are opened on the outer surface of the head body (6); a plurality of coolant flow paths (5e, 5f) that cause the coolant receiving ports (5a, 5b) and the coolant discharge ports (5c, 5d) to communicate with each other, and plug parts (5g, 5h) that close the coolant flow paths (5e, 5f). The coolant flow paths (5e, 5f) have holder-side connection ports (5p, 5q) that are opened on the attachment surface (4a), and head-side connection ports (5r, 5s) that are opened on the plate surface of the head body (6) and are connected to the holder side connection ports (5p, 5q). The plug parts (5g, 5h) are detachably provided in any one among the holder-side connection ports (5p, 5q) and the head-side connection ports (5r, 5s).
