Abstract:
This head-up display is provided with: a display panel which emits image light related to a disparity image including a left eye image and a right eye image; a barrier which has a barrier pattern that causes image lights related to the left eye image and the right eye image to arrive respectively at the left eye and right eye of a user; and an optical system which causes an image of the image light related to the disparity image to be formed and projected onto the left eye and right eye of the user. The optical system causes the image of the image light related to the disparity image to be formed on a projection plane such that the disparity image is magnified at a first magnification along a first direction corresponding to a disparity direction and the disparity image is magnified at a second magnification along a second direction crossing the first direction. The first magnification and the second magnification are different from each other.
