Abstract:
In order to improve the rigidity of brackets used in a header plate-type heat exchanger wherein a tank is connected by using caulking: a frame 10 is formed that has a rectangular shape, in the planar view, having long sides 11 on the outer circumference of a bracket 6; the horizontal cross-section of the bracket 6 is formed in a hook shape; at least one bridge 15 is formed that spans between the long sides 11, at an intermediate section in the longitudinal direction of the frame 10; and the frame 10 and the bridge 15 are integrally formed.
