Abstract:
A headlight device (3) comprises: a light source unit (30) having a plurality of light sources (31, 32); a single optical unit (300) which has an incidence surface (310) and an emission surface (320), and in which a plurality of light beams emitted respectively from light-emission surfaces (31a, 32a) of the plurality of light sources (31, 32) enter from the incidence surface (310) and the plurality of incident light beams are projected as a plurality of projected light beams (L31, L32) from the emission surface (320) such that a light distribution is formed by the plurality of projected light beams (L31, L32); and a structure (340) that limits the size of the luminous flux diameter of the plurality of light beams emitted respectively from the light-emission surfaces (31a, 32a) of the plurality of light sources (31, 32).
