Provided is a tilting-type headrest that can realize reductions in size, weight and use of resources. A mechanism part (100) of a tiltable headrest comprises: a fixed-side member (110) in which upper ends of a pair of left and right stays (111) are integrally connected to each other by a span member (112), and first round holes (112a) and locking recesses (112b, 112c) are formed respectively in a pair of left and right upright wall parts formed on the span member (112); a rotation-side member (120) that has a pair of left and right side wall parts in which second round holes (121) and long holes (125) are respectively formed; a rotating shaft (130) that connects the rotation-side member (120) to the fixed-side member (110) such that the rotation-side member (120) can tilt and rotate; a lock bar (140), the lower ends of which enter/exit the locking recesses (112b, 112c) as guided by the long holes (125); a lock energizing spring (150) for energizing the lock bar (140); and a lock releasing operation means (160) for forcibly moving the lock bar (140).
