Abstract:
Provided is a headset that, by measuring earwax adhered to the headset and reporting to the user, enables prevention of earwax-induced degradation of acoustic characteristics, thereby suppressing product defects. This headset has: a headset body H; and an operating unit 6 for shifting to an earwax measurement mode. A reception unit 7 receives a measurement signal for measuring the presence or absence of earwax. A storage unit 8 saves an initial-mode measurement signal. An analysis unit 9 analyzes a characteristic which the earwax imparts to the measurement signal by comparing the initial-mode measurement signal with an earwax-mode measurement signal. A reporting unit 10 performs predetermined reporting on the basis of the results of the analysis by the analysis unit 9.
