Abstract:
This invention relates to heat exchange area regulating type reaction heat control mechanism for chemical reaction apparatuses, characterized in that the mechanism includes a reaction vessel holding a liquid agent to be subjected to a reaction, a heater, a cooling jacket comprising an air-tight vessel holding an outer circumference of the reaction vessel and formed so that a refrigerant liquid flows into and out of the same, a temperature controller, and a refrigerant liquid level controller comprising an air supply and discharge alteration means adapted to change and regulate the volume of a gas in the cooling jacket and control the reaction heat of the liquid agent by increasing and decreasing a contact surface area of an outer surface of the reaction vessel and the refrigerant liquid in the cooling jacket. This control mechanism is capable of controlling the temperature in a reaction vessel speedily and stably with respect to even a chemical reaction accompanied by a sudden temperature variation.
