Abstract:
This heat exchange element includes a plurality of heat transfer plates which are stacked on one another with a prescribed gap therebetween, and performs heat exchange between a supply flow and an exhaust flow by causing the supply flow and the exhaust flow to pass through the gaps in alternate levels. Flow passage ribs forming flow passages for causing the supply flow or the exhaust flow to pass through in a rectified manner are formed in the gaps. The flow passage ribs are formed by causing the heat transfer plate to stand upright, and a flow passage rib reinforcing material is included in the upright parts that have been formed.
