Provided is a denitrification device having a denitrification reactor, an inlet duct, an air heating pipe, an ammonia vaporizer, and an ammonia injection pipe. The denitrification reactor includes a flow path through which a combustion exhaust gas is channeled, and has a catalyst layer provided within the flow path. The inlet duct includes a flow path for guiding the combustion exhaust gas so as to flow to the catalyst layer. The air heating pipe is installed inside the flow path in the inlet duct, it being possible for air to pass through the interior of the air heating pipe, and it also being possible to warm the air passing through the interior of the air heating pipe by using the thermal energy of the combustion exhaust gas. The ammonia vaporizer has connected thereto a high-temperature-air-transporting pipe for transporting air that has been warmed in the air heating pipe, and an ammonia supply pipe for transporting ammonia, it being possible to mix the ammonia and the warmed air within the ammonia vaporizer to thereby warm the ammonia, and it also being possible to inject the ammonia that has been warmed in the ammonia vaporizer into the flow path in the inlet duct through the ammonia injection pipe and to mix said ammonia with the combustion exhaust gas.
