Abstract:
The present invention aims to obtain a heat exchange-type ventilation device capable of preventing drain water from leaking outside the heat exchange-type ventilation device even when the device is installed upside down. The heat exchange-type ventilation device comprises, inside a case (1): an air supply fan provided inside an air supply path (21); an exhaust fan provided inside an exhaust air path (22); a heat exchange element (6) that exchanges heat between an air supply flow that flows along the air supply path (21) and an exhaust air flow that flows along the exhaust air path (22); and a water holding component that holds drain water. The water holding component can be arranged inside the case (1) at: a first position that is below the heat exchange element (6) in a normal installation state, being a state in which the case is arranged in a preset arrangement direction; and a second position on the opposite side to the first position, sandwiching the heat exchange element (6) therebetween, in the vertical direction.
