Abstract:
Provided is a heat exchanger having a surface structure that is able to suppress frost formation by causing condensed water to scatter, even when used in an environment in which frost forms. Also provided is an air-conditioning device. This heat exchanger has a portion on the surface of which a water-repellent coating film is provided. The surface on which the water-repellent coating film is provided has a surface structure satisfying all of the relationships rw (overall) > 0.6/|cosθw|, rw (protruding part) > 0.6/|cosθw|, 0.1 < d/L < 0.8, L < 3.0 μm, and 90° <θs < 120°, where L is the average pitch of the protruding parts, d is the average diameter of the protruding parts, rw (overall) is the average area enlargement ratio of the entire surface, rw (protruding part) is the average area enlargement ratio of the surface protruding parts, and θw is the contact angle of water on the smooth surface of the water-repellent coating film.
