Abstract:
This heat exchanger comprises: a heat exchange unit that has a plurality of fins arranged at intervals from each other in a first direction, and a plurality of heat transfer tubes that penetrate the plurality of fins and that are arranged at intervals from each other in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, the heat exchange unit performing heat exchange between a refrigerant flowing inside the heat exchange unit and air flowing around same; and a refrigerant distribution device that is connected to one end of the heat exchange unit in the first direction. The refrigerant distribution device includes: one or more distributors that have a first inflow port and a plurality of first outflow ports, a portion of the plurality of heat transfer tubes being connected to the first outflow ports, and the one or more distributors having a collision wall therein and causing the refrigerant flowing in from the first inflow port to be divided due to the refrigerant colliding with the collision wall, and to flow out from each of the first outflow ports; and a communication header that has a second inflow port and a plurality of second outflow ports, another portion of the plurality of heat transfer tubes being connected to the second outflow ports and the communication header having a communication space therein and causing the refrigerant flowing into the communication space from the second inflow port to be divided, and to flow out from each of the second outflow ports. A division count K of the refrigerant passing through the communication header is smaller than a division count M of the refrigerant passing through the distributors.
