Abstract:

A plate-like fin 3 for a heat exchanger 4 has a fin collar 5 formed rising from the peripheral edge of a cutout 2 in which a flat heat transfer tube 1 is inserted. The fin collar 5 has one or more reflared sections 6 at positions facing the longitudinal axis-side side surface of the heat transfer pipe 1, the one or more reflared sections 6 being bent in the direction opposite the side surface. At least one of the one or more reflared sections 6, which defines the pitch of adjacent plate-like fins 3, is formed so that the front end 6b of the at least one of the one or more reflared sections 6 is away from the side surface of a plate-like fin 3, with which the at least one of the one or more reflared sections 6 is in contact.
