Abstract:
A heat exchanger that is supplied air by a fan comprises a heat transfer tube that extends in a direction orthogonal to the direction of the flow of air supplied from the fan, and a fin connected to the heat transfer tube. The fin has a convex part that projects in the thickness direction of the fin and that has at least one convex part receiving face formed to face the supplied air, a concave part that is recessed in the direction opposite to the convex part and that has at least one concave part receiving face formed to face the supplied air, and a switching part where the convex part switches to/from the concave part. When a boundary line, from among the boundary lines between the convex part and the switching part, formed by a convex part receiving face is defined as a convex part upwind boundary line and a boundary line, from among the boundary lines between the concave part and the switching part, formed by a concave part receiving face is defined as a concave part upwind boundary line, a first angle formed on the downwind side by the direction of airflow and the convex part upwind boundary line is smaller than a second angle formed on the downwind side by the direction of airflow and the concave part upwind boundary line.
