Abstract:
A Stirling engine in which a working mixture is reciprocatingly moved between
a compression space and an expansion space by a piston and a displacer. Each of
a high temperature side internal heat exchanger and a low temperature side internal
heat exchanger disposed between the compression space and the expansion space
of the Stirling engine and transmitting a heat heat-exchanged with the working
mixture to a high temperature side heat transfer head and a low temperature side
heat transfer head is formed of the heat exchanger of this invention. In the heat
exchanger, a large number of fins extending to the center of a ring are formed on
the inner surface of a ring-shaped base. A retaining ring is press-fitted to cylindrical
spaces formed between the tips of the fins.
