Abstract:
The present invention relates to a heat exchanger and, specifically, to an air-cooling intercooler, from among heat exchangers, for cooling, in an air-cooling manner, air compressed at high temperature and high pressure by means of a supercooler in order to increase the output of an engine. The present invention relates to a heat exchanger comprising: a plurality of tubes, each of which have both ends connected to header tanks; inner fins provided between the tubes; and outer fins interposed between the tubes, wherein the heights of the inner fins and the outer fins are formed such that cooling performance and the amount of dropping pressure of a heat exchange medium are satisfied even though the number of rows of the tubes is reduced in order to reduce the weight in a predetermined region of a core part, and thus weight is reduced within a package of the heat exchanger, which is a provided space, such that the manufacturing costs of the heat exchanger can be reduced and, simultaneously, the cooling performance of the heat exchanger can be improved.
