Abstract:
The present invention relates to a heat exchanger and, particularly, to a heat exchanger wherein: multiple refrigerant tubes are connected to both ends of each of a pair of header tanks, the refrigerant tubes forming flow channels through which a heat exchange medium flows; a fin is interposed between the refrigerant tubes so as to be coupled to same; and both ends of a dummy tube are coupled to the header tank, the dummy tube having the same shape as the refrigerant tube and not allowing refrigerant to flow therethrough. Accordingly, the dummy tube replaces an existing support configured to improve the structural hardness of a heat exchanger, and thus functions as a support, thereby reducing the number of components constituting a heat exchanger, simplifying the structure of components, and enabling easy assembly and manufacture.
