Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a heat-fusible composite fiber that suppresses the consumption of fossil resources and imparts both bulkiness and flexibility to non-woven fabrics, and a non-woven fabric using the heat-fusible composite fiber. Provided is a heat-fusible composite fiber in which a first component is configured from a polyester resin and a second component is configured from a polyethylene resin having a lower melting point than the first component, the mixing ratio (weight ratio) of a biomass-derived polyethylene resin and a fossil-resource-derived polyethylene resin in the polyethylene resin being 20:80 to 90:10.
