Abstract:
 Provided are a heat- and light-curable coating composition suitable for automotive and consumer electronic products or for use as a top clear coat of a plastic molded article having a water pressure transfer-printed layer, and a coating film formation method and water pressure transfer method using this coating composition. A heat- and light-curable coating composition including (a) an acrylic polyol resin having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 50-100°C, a mass-average molecular weight of 1000-20,000, and a hydroxyl value of 20-200 mg-KOH/g, (b) a polyfunctional light-curable compound, (c) a photopolymerization initiator, and (d) a polyisocyanate compound, the mass ratio of the acrylic polyol resin and the polyfunctional light-curable compound is 5/95-90/10, and the polyisocyanate compound is compounded so that the equivalent ratio (NCO/OH) of hydroxyl groups included in the acrylic polyol resin and isocyanate groups included in the polyisocyanate compound is 0.5-1.5.
