Title:
HEAT PIPE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/190375
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a heat pipe that is installed in a cold region in a bottom-heat orientation so that the longitudinal direction of a container is substantially parallel to the direction of gravity, that makes it possible to prevent deformation of the container even when a working fluid freezes, and that has exceptional heat transportation characteristics. A heat pipe provided with: a container having a pipe shape in which the end surface at one end and the end surface at the other end are sealed, and having an inner wall surface in which groove parts are formed; a sintered body layer provided on the inner wall surface at one end of the container, the sintered body layer being obtained by sintering a powder; and a working fluid sealed in the hollow part of the container, wherein: the sintered body layer has a first sintered part located on the side toward the end surface at the one end, and a second sintered part that is continuous from the first sintered part and is located on the side toward the other end; and the average primary particle diameter of a first powder serving as a raw material for the first sintered part is less than the average primary particle diameter of a second powder serving as a raw material for the second sintered part.
