Abstract:
This heat pump device performs a heating operation for heating supplied water and a cooling operation for cooling the supplied water, and comprises a compressor, a flow passage switching device, an air heat exchanger, a pressure reducing device, a water heat exchanger, and a refrigerant pipeline forming a refrigerant circuit, wherein: if an inner diameter of the refrigerant pipeline at an inlet portion of the pressure reducing device is defined as a pipeline inner diameter x (mm), and a formula that represents an average value of a refrigerant flow velocity of the refrigerant, in a two-phase state of liquid and gas, at the inlet portion of the pressure reducing device, and that indicates a boundary at which the refrigerant does not exhibit slug flow is defined as a refrigerant flow velocity threshold y (m/s), the refrigerant flow velocity threshold y (m/s) is predetermined in accordance with a dryness, as follows; with a dryness of 0.2, y=3x-7.2774, with a dryness of 0.3, y=1.8639x-0.5495, with a dryness of 0.4, y=2.9906x-6.6909, with a dryness of 0.5, y=2.8725x-5.2025, with a dryness of 0.7, y=0.986x+1. 4019, and with a dryness of 0.8, y=25.391x-95.316; and the refrigerant flows through the refrigerant circuit in such a way that a refrigerant flow velocity Y (m/s), which is the velocity of the refrigerant flowing through the inlet portion of the pressure reducing device, is at least equal to the refrigerant flow velocity threshold y (m/s) corresponding to the dryness.
