Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a heat seal paper that is suitably used in packaging applications such as packaging materials, bags, containers, boxes, cups, and lid materials, and that has heat sealability and preferable blocking resistance. As a solution to the problem, provided is a heat seal paper having, on at least one surface of a paper base member, a coated layer containing a thermoplastic resin. The coated layer contains at least a pigment as an anti-blocking agent. The blending amount of the pigment in the coated layer is less than 200 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic resin.
