Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide heat-sealable paper which has excellent heat sealability and recyclability and which can seal a packaged object even immediately after bag-forming processing. Heat-sealable paper according to the present invention has at least one heat sealing layer on at least one surface of a paper base material, wherein: the heat sealing layer contains a water dispersible resin binder; when heat sealing layers are heat-sealed together at 150°C and 0.2 MPa for one second, hot tack peeling distance is not more than 150 mm and heat seal peeling strength is not less than 2 N/15 mm; and the pulp recovery rate after re-pulping is not less than 85%.
