Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a heat sensitive recording body with which there are few safety concerns such as endocrine disruptors, which has excellent color development and light stability, and which also has excellent heat resistance. A heat sensitive recording body (1) has a configuration in which a heat sensitive recording layer (3) is laminated onto a substrate (2). The heat sensitive recording layer (3) includes a color forming agent, a non-phenolic color developing agent, and a non-phenolic antioxidant. The non-phenolic antioxidant includes a phosphorous-based antioxidant. The non-phenolic color developing agent preferably includes a compound represented by formula (1) and/or a compound represented by formula (2).
